Provost´s Statement on Haiti
Ave Maria University- Latin American Campus is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives and homes that the earthquakes have caused to Haiti’s inhabitants. I recall our own December 23, 1972 earthquake that destroyed so many lives in Managua. Many of us who lived through that event are easily touched by what has happened to the people of Haiti.
Founded in fidelity to Christ and his Church, this campus will remain true to its mission of helping those in need by devoting its efforts to raising funds that are to be entrusted to CRS (Catholic Relief Service. http://amulac.avemaria.edu/edit/pages/www.crs.org ). CRS is the official international humanitarian agency of the U.S. Catholic community, and our choosing CRS ties in nicely to the fact we are a US Catholic campus. In this time of hardships, our community is united in prayer with the people of Haiti

Ave Maria University - Latin American Campus (AMULAC) is the only American university in Central America offering 4-year Bachelor of Arts degree programs in the following areas: Business Administration, Politics and Psychology. These are complimented by 12 majors offered on the main campus at Ave Maria, Florida. These are Biology, Classics and Early Christian Literature, Economics, History, Literature, Mathematics, Music, Philosophy, Politics, Psychology, and Theology, and Pre-medicine Program, and a. Business Certificate.
